Senior Account Manager – Richmond
Our client, a global leader in the commercial floor covering industry has retained us to find a sales professional to cover Southern Virginia. Summary: Manage all aspects of current contract sales and new account acquisitions in the Southern Virginia territory. Candidate should possess strong experience and knowledge of the contract sales process and preferably strong knowledge of the contract carpet industry or other interior design products. Comprehensive knowledge of the local A&D industry – capable of specifying and selling through this segment. Strong presentation skills that encourage customers to specify and purchase our products.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will meet/exceed all revenue and growth goals assigned.
- Develops, plans, and executes sales and marketing strategies within assigned A&D accounts and End User accounts. Develops and maintains a detailed sales strategy for each target aimed at retention/penetration to gain targeted market share.
- Establishes, develops, strengthens and maintains relationships at all levels of assigned A&D accounts.
- Promotes the Company brand in the marketplace.
- Support commercial dealer channel strategies and relationships to fully maximize contracting opportunities and market coverage.
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day account management.
- Identify winnable projects. Fill and maintain a workable pipeline.
- Highly involved in industry trade organizations. IIDA/IFMA
Education/Experience:
B.S./B.A. required
2+ years direct sales experience calling on A&D required.
Well-developed communication and execution management skills.
Must be a self-starter, experience with working from home office with limited supervision.
Must possess very strong personal presence and interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of customers – from technical to non-technical.
Strong understanding of the design process.

Senior Interior Designer
RRMM is looking for a senior interior designer to expand our staff. Our work encompasses a wide variety of markets with emphasis on government and education. Projects we are currently working on include community centers, commercial spaces, doctor’s offices, administrative buildings, as well as K-12, higher education and federal government projects. We do a fair amount of design build projects for both commercial and government clients.
Candidates must be experienced in programming, space planning, client interviews and meetings; interior finish selections and coordinating interiors with architectural drawings. They must be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products. They must be experienced in developing specifications in Masterspec and/or Specsintac formats. Experience in planning, designing and specifying interior furnishings for government, educational and commercial clients is a great asset. NCIDQ certified, four-year degree.

Baskervill has an immediate opening for an Interior Designer to join our Corporate Interiors Team. This position is mainly responsible for our Healthcare sector but also a variety of Corporate projects. This position is responsible for project execution from programming through construction administration, inclusive of construction documents. May supervise/coordinate the work of others assigned to the project. Exhibits the ability to independently evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to each assignment to identify and meet the client and users needs, goals, and special requirements.
The ideal candidate is a team player with 5 to 8 years experience working in a collaborative corporate environment. CID/LEED preferred. Must have proven experience running projects from start to finish; exceptional presentation skills; and experience with furniture selection and the procurement process. Working knowledge of working drawing techniques; interior code requirements; construction administration procedures; awareness of legal responsibilities of professional practice, liabilities in construction and professional ethics. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Sketchup/Viz/other presentation software is required. Revit experience is preferred.
