I Love My Industry Gala
Please join the Virginia/West Virginia Chapter on February 19, 2010 for the 5th Annual “I Love My Industry” gala event and silent auction from 7pm-10pm at the Colonial Heritage Club in Williamsburg. The event raises money for our chapter. Cost: Member: $ 45.00 Non-Member: $35 Member/Guest: $ 50.00, Students $15.00. Please contact Maryann Woods for more information or for an invitation. 
2009 Holiday Parties
December toped off the year of hard work with two great holiday parties while making the year a little brighter for less fortunate children in our communities. Around 155 people attended each party in Richmond and Hampton Roads. Despite the sagging economy the event planning committee raised a record breaking amount of money for the 15th Annual Holiday Parties. Each year the chapter makes a modest donation to a worthy organization in each city center. This year we were able to double that donation, giving $1,000 to both Southside Child Development Center in Richmond, Virginia and to St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children in Norfolk, Virginia. The chapter is honored to support these two organizations as we know donations are always needed, especially at this time.
Also, these holiday parties raised a combined total of $585 for the IIDA Foundation. Although Keith Bradley and Greg Parsons with American Office were both winners of the 50/50 raffle, each decided to give back their winnings to the foundation. We are already half way to our IIDA Foundation goal for 2010! Thank you!
